NCR Celebrates 20 Years as Member of ATMIA
NCR recently celebrated its twentieth anniversary as a member of the ATM Industry Association (ATMIA). ATMIA is a global non-profit trade association supporting the ATM industry, with over 8,000 members in 60 countries.
During its membership, NCR has participated in many important initiatives with the ATMIA, including ongoing engagement in whitepapers and best practice sharing on ATM security, ATM design and ATM technology standards. NCR has also participated in many ATMIA-sponsored industry forums.
Recently, we have been active in the ATMIA’s Consortium for NextGen ATMs initiative and were a keynote speaker at an ATMIA security conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
In fact, the ATMIA selected NCR as its Member of the Month for November 2019, highlighting our membership anniversary and our participation in many of their initiatives.
“NCR is proud to play a leadership role in the ATMIA and to help highlight the ATM’s crucial place in the retail and digital strategies of financial institutions,” said Adam Crighton, general manager, Self-Service Banking, NCR Corporation. “The ATMIA has been a key venue for sharing our knowledge, experience and thought leadership. Working with the ATMIA helps us contribute to important discussions about the future of the industry, and we look forward to continuing to engage with the ATMIA during this period of exciting change.”
ATMIA is an independent trade association engaged in non-competitive promotion of the ATM industry. Their mission is to promote ATM convenience, growth and usage worldwide; to protect the ATM industry's assets, interests, good name and public trust; and to provide education, best practices, political voice and networking opportunities for member organizations.
